
Curaçao Ports Authority, Curaçao Towage Company and Curaçao Pilots Organization receives the Lloyds Registers’ ISO Certification
Willemstad, Curaçao – The Curacao Ports Authority is proud to announce that they together with its affiliated companies, Curacao Towage Company and Curacao Pilots Organization received this year’s Lloyds Register’s ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Lloyd’s Registers’ certification needs no introduction. This certification is well-known and recognized by the maritime industry worldwide. It has also been acknowledge by de Commission of Accreditation in Holland and the United Kingdom Accreditation Services. This double recognition is what makes these three companies and specially their management and workers very proud and very glad because hard work pays off.
The CPA, CTC and CPO received in 1999 the first ISO 9000 certification. Every 3 years each company has to be audited to renew the certification. This means that every 3 years the companies have to demonstrate to the auditor that they deserve the certification because of their service and professionalism.
The harbor of Curacao is well-known in the region because it’s safe, reliable and delivers high quality work. These positive aspects have been once again proven by the fact that CPA, CTC and CPO received the Lloyd’s register ISO Certification.
The Curacao Ports Authority wants to congratulate the workers of CPA, CTC and CPO with this achievement. Without high qualified workers it is not possible to achieve the high level of service that the harbor of Curacao gives to the clients that visit the island from all around the world.
