CPA and CMAR sign MOU with the objective to fortify the maritime industry on Curaçao

Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Curaçao Maritime Association (CMAR) with the aim to attract more maritime activity to Curaçao and to expand the footprint of the maritime industry on Curaçao benefiting the island and its maritime stakeholders. Towards that end, parties will collaborate on a range of activities including marketing, knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration on specific port development aspects such as renewable energy, the implementation of the National Export Strategy operational objectives of the port and maritime services and health, safety and environmental aspects.
CPA is continuously seeking to further strengthen its relationships through key stakeholders that are meaningfully interconnected with the Port of Willemstad. In connection herewith, CPA stays in close contact through affiliation with prominent organizations including Florida Caribbean Cruise Association, Caribbean Shipping Association, American Association of Port Authorities and Port Management Association of the Caribbean.
