New pension plan agreement for KTK employees

After almost three years of negotiations, KTK's employees signed a new pension plan agreement with the company's management.

Willemstad, Curaҫao – On Jan. 16, 2015, the employees of Kompania di Tou Korsou Exploitatie Maatschappij N.V. (KTK) signed a new pension plan agreement with KTK’s management. The signing came as result of nearly three years of negotiations. Both employees and management of KTK are therefore very pleased with the positive results achieved in the end.

A major change in the new pension plan is to increase the retirement age from 60 to 65 years, whereby employees can work longer and built more pension. This is in connection with the statutory increase of the AOV age to 65 years.

During the negotiations, KTK’s employees were represented by Mrs. M. Bilderdijkstraat, Mr. W. Meulen, and Mrs. S. Macaya of the union CADMU. Present at the signing were Mr. Meulen on behalf of CADMU, Mr. R. Petronella, shop steward of KTK’s employees and KTK was represented by Mr. H. de Castro (CEO) and Mr. S. Rojer (Assistant Managing Director).
