CSEC 2026 hosted in Curaçao

The 24th Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference (CSEC) was successfully held on May 17-19, 2026

Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), in collaboration with the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA) brought together more than 300 regional maritime professionals for three days of collaboration, innovation, and strategic discussion. The conference opened with committee and council meetings focused on key industry priorities, including sustainability, security, digital transformation and cruise development, followed by a tropical networking reception.

The second day featured keynote addresses from regional leaders and industry executives, as well as presentations and panel discussions on strengthening the Caribbean maritime economy, advancing artificial intelligence, corporate social responsibility, and the role of ports as future energy hubs. Delegates also enjoyed an immersive Cultural Night experiencing Curaçao’s culture through live music and modern adaptations of local cuisine in a festive setting.

The conference concluded with forward-looking discussions on maritime security, digitalization, global economic challenges, data transparency, and port investment. A guided Port Tour provided delegates with firsthand insight into Curaçao’s harbor operations and infrastructure. The event successfully fostered knowledge-sharing, regional cooperation, and meaningful dialogue on the future of the Caribbean shipping industry.
